It's Not Friday, Is It?

The excitement that has been brought to my attention this morning makes me feel like today should be Friday so I can "get down" as the kids say. Instead, today is just a really awesome Thursday and second day of the month! Want to know what awesomeness was brought to my attention this morning:

1. MCDONALD'S MONOPOLY IS BACK!

This is huge news! I'm a McDonald's monopoly addict. I usually gain around 5-10 pounds (on average) during Monopoly season because I just know that some day I'm going to win big. It's like the lottery, but I get tasty food that will stay on my hips in the process! McDonald's is such a giver like that! I'm slowly starting to build up my pieces and plan my strategic menu planning to optimize the acquiring of game pieces. If you don't want your pieces, pass them my way and I'll love you forever!

2. PIZZA HUT HAS A BOOKIT ALUMNI PROGRAM!

We all know that I love reading and I love pizza! (Follow me on Twitter to see what books I'm currently reading!) If there is one food that I eat more than McDonald's during Monopoly season, it's pizza. I feel my love for pizza, books, and free things stem from my childhood. I've always loved pizza and reading, and now Pizza Hut was telling me that I could get a pizza FOR FREE by reading books? Why wouldn't I read books? Plus, I got to eat pizza more often because my parents didn't have to pay for it. I signed up for the alumni program and am now anxiously awaiting my email for a free personal pan pizza. I've been reading Pizza Hut! Just follow my Twitter and you'll see that I've earned my free pizza! 

3. BIG BROTHER IN TOWN!

Kiddo's birthday party is on Saturday and my brother is coming into town today! I haven't seen my brother in a long time because our schedules don't work out so well. The university he's at is on fall break, so he's using the extra time to come hang out with us. I hope he doesn't plan on getting much work done on his research until kiddo goes to sleep, because she's going to be all Unkie all the time.
