Don't get me wrong, I love me some Chips-A-Hoy cookies. I can get down with some double stuffed Oreos. Pretty much if the word "cookie" is involved, I'm not saying no. Unless it involves raisins, or cranberries, or anything remotely healthy (except oatmeal) that would make the cookie inferior. If it's a cookie, generally I'm in love with it. However, there's just something about the magic those elves have that makes me turn all "GIVE ME ALL THE COOKIES! NOM NOM NOM!".
The magic the elves use is love, by the way. Or at least that's what I chose to believe.
I realized that I had a problem when I bought the cookies that are like Oreos, only shaped like elves and stuffed with chocolate creme, when we went to see One Direction. It was the first time in many years that I had purchased Keebler cookies. I ate the entire bag in a weekend. In fact, I almost ate the entire bag in one day. I only stopped because I felt like a fat cow for eating almost the entire bag in one day.
After confessing this story to my parents, they went out and purchased the DOUBLE STUFF KEEBLER ELFIN COOKIES. I didn't even know this gift of love to the world existed! And I almost didn't get to try any of them. My parents left me one, but between the two of them they almost consumed the whole bag in less than a day. (This addiction must be genetic.)
I thought it was just the elfin cookies. Maybe it's because they are so cute that I want to eat them all up. Maybe because they tell me their name, I can't wait to consume the next one *cough* find out his name!
Maybe it's because they offer cute little sayings on the back and I just can't wait to discover the wisdom that each new elf wishes to offer me.
That's what I thought. Until I bought the rainbow chip cookies. And then this happened:
EXCITING NEWS!!!! Not only did those elves bring me delicious love in the form of cookies, they also brought me cash! I was majorly stoked to see an email telling me that I had won $100 instantly. I thought if I won anything instantly it would be the trip to an Austin Mahone concert or whatever one was on all of my pop tarts. But the elves love me, and I will love the elves in return. Perhaps in the form of $100 worth of cookies...or is that a little extreme?
