Couponing Fail

I sat down tonight to get my grocery shopping list ready for Sunday when I get back to Texas. I had kept all of my sale papers and went through matching things that I need in the near future with coupons and the stores they were on sale at. I was all set to have an AWESOME savings at CVS and a payday because I would have bought enough of the select items to get a CVS cash card out of the deal too. I was patting myself on the back with how awesome this was going to come out. I was even congratulating myself on succeeding at this couponing thing and imagining the accolades that would pour in from the blog post that would follow. Then I REALLY looked at the sale paper and saw the dates these prices and deals applied to...and saw they end tomorrow. Crap. My coupons are in Texas and I won't be back there until Sunday. Well played, CVS, well played.
