So, I pretty much dropped off the face of this blog when football season started back up and my life spun out of control. There's always next year, right? Check back next week for those pesky New Year's Resolutions and more fun stuff! Ok, maybe not fun stuff, but definitely the resolutions.
A brief Christmas update, that is sure to solidify my Mom of the Year status. I forgot the logistics about baking cookies for Santa. Being at my parents' house, it never occurred to me that my mom (who is an avid baker) would not have anything to use to bake cookies for Santa. I've heard that he likes Nutter Butters and we have plenty of those, so I think I'm safe...this year.
Dear Santa, next year I promise to provide you real cookies. I'm sorry that I went to town on the amazing peanut butter blossoms that I made, so there were none left for you. Don't take it out on the kiddo. She doesn't know any better. Please accept these Nutter Butters and my sincere apology. Sincerely, Mom Of The Year Candidate for 2013.
